J. Rodham, Berwick, writes to James Anderson, Edinburgh, 25 March, 1717, responding to a letter from Anderson enclosed with a letter for Mr. Mackdowall. Rodham articulates his support and devotion to Anderson, and warns against the King of Sweden's "wilde designs." Includes integral envelope.
